Markets functions are under pressure to deliver clarity, speed, and conviction in environments that are noisier, faster, and more tightly governed than at any point in recent memory. Data volumes have increased, tooling has become more sophisticated, and access to information is no longer a constraint. In this environment, organisations that rely on informal or role-based definitions of analyst capability are exposed. They may appear analytically sophisticated while remaining structurally fragile.
